Peyton's Words of Wisdom

My youngest son Peyton has asperger's syndrome, which is a form of autism. He is always making me laugh with his words of "wisdom".

One day I was throwing something away and in the trashcan I saw a cake mix box. I asked my husband Bruce if he made a cake (like that would ever happen). He hadn't, so I picked up the box and it was full and unopened. I thought it was strange that it would end up in the trash, but went on with my day.

A while later Bruce came in and said that Peyton confessed to throwing it away, because it said devil on the box. All I could do is laugh and go on. That is so Peyton!

Baby needs new shoes

In the recent months I have been getting free samples. I am amazed by the number of free things I can try out. I have received razors, shampoo, food and many other things. I saw where my son could try out a brand new pair of New Balance shoes and being thrifty I thought why not?

I filled out the information weeks ago and had forgot all about it until the doorbell rang last night. I got a package from UPS. I love to get packages and saw that this one was addressed to my youngest son Peyton. It was the shoes from weeks ago!
